Our
Quality Systems Wilson Engineering Systems has been accredited to
ISO9001 (since 1997). We saw this as a fundamental tool to document and measure our
desire to do everything the best that we could.
We have since taken the Quality system and
further refined it to suit our business and our customers, with encouraging results.
Our Quality system provides us with the
following benefits -
- For companies who we have never dealt with
before, it gives them an insight into how we conduct our business and an indication of the
standards we set ourselves.
- For ourselves, it gives us an indication of
how well we are doing. We record how we wish to do things, and then get an external
auditor to gauge how well we "do the things we say we are going to do".
- For project activities or equipment that we
don't become involved in so often, it gives us the ability to record the best way of
achieving the result or how to deal with problems. This is particularly useful in
our machinery design reviews.
- It gives us a system to always improve the
way we do things, which means that every time you deal with us, you will experience a
better service, or get a better product.
We are now working towards ISO9001:2000
accreditation.
