Both companies have decades of experience as suppliers of equipment to the woodworking industry and have each launched new types of machines that are highly profitable for our customers. Together, Bruks Klockner has a comprehensive product program for our different customer segments.

Core Products:
The first drum chipper was developed by Klockner in 1956. From those early days, Klockner and Bruks have delivered a total of more than 8,500 drum chippers and over 2,500 of the disc type.

We have sold many kilometres of Tubulator conveyors, having spans in excess of 300 metres and carrying volumes up to 1200m³ of chips or sawdust per hour, with low-energy consumption.

The first butt-end reducer was developed by Bruks in 1977, since then about 650 units have been delivered to customers all over the World.

Customer Demands:
Demands from our customers, such as Kronospan, A.W. Jenkinson and the many UK sawmills call for the highest product quality, whilst individual adaptation and delivery requirements continue to increase. Our aim is always to live up to those demands. Good project engineering is essential if you want to find machinery and plant solutions that will function to the customer’s satisfaction over a long period of time. The solid experience Bruks Klockner has accumulated in many decades of project engineering guarantees that our solutions are well-founded.

The competitive market situation has caused our customers to run their plants harder and longer, as a consequence, their demands on service and spare-parts supply have increased enormously.

Last year, Bruks Klockner reinforced its after-sales service organization to be able to meet the customers’ service and spare parts requirements. Spare parts shipments as well as technical support can be obtained from our production facilities in Germany and Sweden and also via our representatives operating in 50 countries, one of which is Soderhamn Eriksson Ltd.

Bruks Klockner is the leading supplier for the wood-processing industry, with special expertise in sawmilling, bio-fuel preparation and the board industry - from project engineering, manufacture, plant installation and training of personnel to after-sales support and spare parts service - all from a single source.

Soderhamn Eriksson Ltd typify the worldwide leading position of Bruks Klockner today, as the UK market shows, for research and development as well as product and technical support.
