Wilson Engineering won the contract to design, manufacture and install a revolving restaurant floor in March 2005.

The restaurant is located on the top of a new hotel and apartment complex beside Anse-Vata beach. 

The restaurant offers views of the vast mountainous regions, across the city and through to wonderful sights of the blue sea and outer islands.

The floor is similar to projects already completed in the Auckland Sky Tower and Macau Tower in Hong Kong.

The installation took place over a 10 week period.

The floor is 21 metres in diameter and can accommodate up to 150 people in one sitting.

The restaurant is powered by 2 drive units and a VFD which turn the floor.
Normal speed is set to one rotation every hour. 

The restaurant floor has since opened and been a real success.

The revolving floors are a very interesting sideline of work for Wilson Engineering and have been very successful.
