Southpine A-Grader Installation

During June 2005, Wilson Engineering Systems installed and commissioned an A-grader into the Southpine planermill infeed. 

Modification of the existing planer infeed entailed moving the tilt hoist to make room for a lugloader, lugged deck and dropout, as well as installing a dropout belt conveyor to deliver timber to a short grading table. The A-Grader itself was supplied by Falcon Engineering and installed by Wilson Engineering Systems.

Some initial problems with dealing with the rejected boards were soon sorted and the equipment is now functioning as planned.
