Wilson Engineering has completed the installation of it's first VacuEasyLift for Coffee maker Cerebos Greggs. 

The vacuum unit is used to lift coffee bean sacks weighing up to 70kg. Previously this was done manually by one person having to lift the sacks from the pallet and up onto a stand for releasing into a hopper. Due to OH & S concerns and lower back problems with employees, Cerebos Greggs looked at options to eliminate these issues.  Wilson Engineering Systems Ltd were able to provide the solution with a TAWI vacuum lifter with a special adaptor foot to handle the Hessian coffee bean sacks.

Since it’s commissioning, production has actually increased with the ease of operation of the unit. The installation was designed to work on two separate levels in the warehouse. Issues with employee’s health have also been minimised.
