Wilson
Headrig Slabber
The Wilson headrig slabber (either using
the successful ARI chipper canter head as pictured, or other chipper
heads which can be provided upon request), provides a high-quality sawn
surface finish, increased productivity and improved chip quality.
In addition, further quality gains and
maximum flexibility are provided by the Wilson headrig slabber's variable
height option. The ability to lift the
head and centralise it relative to the log diameter gives state-of-the-art
chipping performance with each and every log on the line. It
is the perfect choice for sawmills whose log resource covers a wide range
of diameters.
Features:
- Chromed round slideways for maximum
stability and durability in both horizontal and Wilson's optional
vertical movement capability
- Can be operated by servo hydraulic or
proportional valve setwork systems
- Single or double cut options available
with horizontal movements adjusted to requirements
- Chipper head can be fitted with
pre-cutting or post-cutting saws
- Standard motor size is 132 kW, however,
150kW is available for higher production carriage applications
