The Nicholson SKD (Straight Knife Drum) Chipper is one of the most versatile and capable chippers in the industry.

The SKD makes high quality pulp or fuel chips from lumber trims, slabs, veneer trims, edgings, blocks, log ends, oversized chips and solid wood.  Even tree length wood, brush, stringy bark and limbs can be processed.

You can now replace several specialised chippers and knife hogs with simple and easy to maintain multi-application Nicholson SKD Chippers.

• Large infeed opening of the SKD makes feeding easy
   
• Both drop feed and horizontal infeed configurations available

• Outfeed can be bottom discharge or momentum discharge from the rear of the chipper
